I want to try ice skating this winter. I'm a little worried, though, because I can't stand up on my hind legs like the other kids. But I think if I wore four skates I could do it just fine! I'll ask Nick and Molly if they want to skate with me.

I was sitting under a giant oak leaf yesterday during recess. I heard Brad tell Nick he was going to punch him if he didn't give him a dollar! I felt scared. I'm such a little hamster, and Brad is so big. I didn't know what to do. Next time, I think I'll tell Mrs. Bridge.

Big snow storm today! School is even closed. Can you imagine how deep a snow drift looks to a little hamster like me? Sometimes, when you can see things through someone else's eyes, you understand them better.

Hoo-boy, did I have a close call at recess today! I was napping in Carmen's backpack (very comfy!). Then boom! Some big kid threw a snowball and it hit the pack. At first, I thought someone was being mean to me on purpose. Then I realized it was just an accident. Glad I wasn't being bullied!

I was running in my exercise wheel last night and had a great idea: I'm really good at running, so maybe I should run for student council. I could help make sure that all kids are included in things. Pip for president?

Sometimes, being the littlest one is great! Today, Mrs. Bridge accidentally dropped her keys between the wall and the big art cabinet. I was the only one who could wiggle in there to rescue them!

Excellent baby carrot for lunch today. What a treat!
I was napping in Sally's backpack this morning and was rudely awakened by quite a ruckus! Someone was yelling "Ice cream! Free ice cream!" Maybe it was just a dream.
