Welcome to PACER Center's Bullying Prevention Website
This site was developed to help children in second through sixth grade recognize bullying and respond to it in appropriate, effective ways. It is for all children who are bullied or who witness bullying.
Through engaging activities and helpful information, this Web site helps to:
- promote bullying awareness in elementary schools;
- teach effective ways to respond to bullying; and
- prevent bullying of all children, especially those with disabilities.
You can help prevent bullying by using this site often with your children or students.
Suggested activities:
- View the What Bullying Is, How Bullying Feels, and What You Can Do videos with your children or students and talk with them about the messages.
- Use the Feelings activity with younger children to encourage discussion about how people feel when they see bullying or are bullied. Ask the children how they feel.
- Talk with your children or students about the information under "Smart Stuff."
- Encourage your children or students to enter our Kids Against Bullying contest.
Thank you for helping to end childhood bullying!
