I Care Because…

I was someone who was bullied throughout most of my academic career. I would never want someone to feel the way I did or not want to go to school because of a bully. I want to make my classroom a safe space where kids aren't afraid to be themselves and everyone is welcome and invited.

I care about taking a stance against bullying because I’ve see the effects and harmful results bullying has caused.

I care about teaching students about bullying because it is important they know what to look for and how to make a positive difference. It is essential that students are kind are respectful towards one another.

I care because everyone needs to feel accepted and appreciated in the classroom. everyone must be treated with respect and dignity no matter where they come from and who they look like. everyone is equal and we should be treated as such.

I care because I want all children to feel safe and included.

I care because no student should have to feel the way bullying makes you feel .

ALL STUDENTS DESERVE TO NOT BE BULLIED WHEN THEY GO TO SCHOOL!
